Doug & Yvonne Johns
Doug Johns is the Lead Pastor of First Church in Brockville, Ontario. He is a graduate of York Univ. (B.A.), Ontario Bible College (Certificate), and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (M.Div.). Doug is married to Yvonne and they have four grown children plus two grand-daughters. Doug has had significant experience as a Pastor in four Canadian provinces. He has served as Associate Pastor at West Congregational in Haverhill, Massachusetts; and has taken leadership in Christian Camping as Executive Director of Camp Fireside, NH; Glen Mhor Camp, Ontario; Timberline Ranch, BC. In recent years Doug has renewewd his interest in International ministry with a mission trip to India (2009) and four mission/ministry trips to Romania (2010, 2011) …. avid baseball fan of the Toronto Blue Jays … Managed American Legion Baseball Team out of Creston BC in North Idaho League. A serious runner, Doug intends to register in 2011 for his first marathon, before he turns 60!
