We all love validation. No question that it motivates us, cheers us, calms us, enables us … With validation we retain focus and commitment to the cause for which we have been recruited. Validation keeps the mission going. In John 21:15-19 we read how Jesus validates Peter. This is the momentum for the spread & progress of the church.

 Without validation, things grind to a halt, shrivel up, and eventually die. Read more of my thinking on the Peter & Jesus seaside encounter here. This will be the focus of our teaching time on Sunday May 22, 2011. Hope to see you then.
